How the score works: the 0–100 number blends two things — how much of the paper rewards thinking & application (vs pure recall) and how well it covers the syllabus. So a paper can score higher on broad coverage even with fewer thinking questions. Scope today: CBSE Class 9–10 Science-type subjects.
